LEROY MERLIN
Project Type : 3D Stills
Year : 2025
We were tasked by Leroy Merlin France to create 15 unique characters that complement those featured in their films, helping to illustrate key Leroy Merlin highlights. The character silhouettes were designed with exaggerated proportions to bring out personality and originality.
To make the characters feel distinctly Leroy Merlin, we built them partly from materials sold in their stores. Think: copper wire for hair, a brush for a beard, carpet for a jumper, drawer handles for shirt buttons, a shower plug as a pocket watch, and more.
The final look was brought together with soft, natural lighting, realistic materials, and stylised characters that still give the impression of being real and warm.
Tarpaulin:
A “family photo” of all 15 characters, posed casually and smiling—like a group of friends meeting in a garden. A few are holding DIY tools.
Festival des ProjeCts:
A lively, celebratory image of the characters with hands raised, marking the Leroy Merlin Festival of Projects.
POS & Scratch Cards:
We repurposed the main characters, placing them alone or in small groups, across a range of positions and expressions
